In the fourth episode of The Full-Time Wife Escapist season 1, Mikuri starts working at a new company as a project coordinator. Her new boss, Mr. Hiramasa, is skeptical about her abilities and assigns her a challenging task to see if she can handle it. Mikuri approaches the situation with determination, despite feeling overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, Hiramasa’s colleague, Mr. Tanabe, takes an interest in Mikuri and asks her out on a date. Mikuri is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to go out with him. However, when Hiramasa finds out about their date, he warns Mikuri that Tanabe has a reputation for being a player.

Mikuri goes on the date anyways and finds that Tanabe is actually a sweet and genuine person. They have a fun time together and Mikuri realizes she has feelings for him. However, when Hiramasa sees them together, he becomes jealous and confronts Tanabe about his intentions towards Mikuri.

The episode ends with Mikuri torn between her feelings for Tanabe and her loyalty towards Hiramasa, as well as contemplating her future with both her job and relationships.
